Frequently Asked Questions

  • I'm a beginner, can I still do Lagree?

Of course! While taking our Intro to Lagree class is encouraged to familiarize with the machine and method at a slower pace, all classes are modifiable to the individual's experience level. Please arrive early to your first class and be sure to inform the trainer! Enjoy!

  • What if I'm pregnant or have an injury?

Please be sure to inform your trainer of any individual medical/physical conditions at the start of class to keep you safe and getting the most out of your workout!

  • How difficult are the classes?

Class difficulty will vary based on a number of factors: the individual's effort, spring load, tempo, etc. It is important to listen to the instructor's cues for optimal body alignment, range of motion, resistance and tempo. When these factors are prioritized, you can safely challenge your body to approach muscle fatigue and ultimate failure!

  • What should I bring?

Grip socks are required for all classes! Grip gloves and towels are highly recommended for heated classes. Forgot them? Fear not! We proudly stock several styles and brands in store to keep you equipped for success and safety! Water bottles for optimal hydration are also recommended for class.

  • Do I need to arrive early?

Please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your first class! That should be ample time to sign the waiver, meet the trainer, learn about the machine, and store your belongings! Returning clients should aim to arrive within 5 minutes of class start time to minimize disruption to others.

  • Are there amenities?

Motion Fitness proudly offers bathrooms, showers with basic toiletries, hair dryers, lockers, etc. There is also a full service cafe for pre- and post-workout fuel!

  • Is parking available?

Ample free parking without restrictions on site!

  • How often should I do Lagree?

Always listen to your body! While some of our most experienced clients do Lagree almost every day, the number of classes/week will vary per person. Some clients will alternate between Lagree and other forms of exercise throughout the week, while some clients will immediately pair Lagree back-to-back with another workout. The best way is to start and see how your body reacts to the Lagree Method and tailor your workout routine accordingly. Always reach out to one of our instructors for tips and advice!
